A New Tradition
It seems that we've started a new tradition. Seven families came together at Lake Delta for a weekend of togetherness and all that it entails -- boats, beach, s'mores, swimming, delicious dinners, chasing children. It was wild and fun and stressful at times, but the point was that we were together again -- a group of terrific women, their patiently and wisely chosen husbands, and their delightful children. Even the infamous rubber chicken joined us for his second annual Memorial Day vacation.
Hopefully we'll be able to pull this off again next year -- and much thanks are due to the organizers in the group, as well as to our dear hostess.
So it's back home now and back to normal, if you can call it that. We've got another couple of hectic weeks ahead of us and then hopefully we'll be able to reach a more peaceful, summery pace.

This looked like such fun! We were at the beach too for Memorial Day weekend . . . just on the Pacific Ocean rather than a pretty lake.
Maybe some year we can come home and join you..
